3rd Floor is founded on fair and transparent practices. We pay our translators higher rates than those offered in the market.

Claudia Pérez
CEO and original co-founding member. Legal translator. Master's in Legal Translation and Judicial Interpretation from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Prior to founding 3FT, Claudia worked for more than 10 years as a legal translator for renowned law firms and law centers in the United States and Chile (Johansson & Langlois; Weil, Gotshal & Manges; RegCom, U. de Chile; King & Spalding). She specializes in the areas of international arbitration, environmental law, antitrust, corporate law and intellectual property.
A dual citizen of the U.S. and Chile, she has more than 18 years of experience in legal translation and interpretation in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan. She has lived extensively in the United States (where she currently resides), as well as in Chile, England and Spain.
Loreto Urqueta
Independent consultant and original co-founding member. Lawyer.
Loreto obtained her law degree from Universidad de Chile. She is bilingual (Spanish and English), and has over 20 years of experience in various areas of law and compliance. She has worked for major law firms in Chile (Harasic & Lopez; Barros, Letelier & González; FerradaNehme) and large national and multinational companies (Codelco; Roche Chile, Novartis).
While Loreto has left her executive role at 3FT to resume practicing law – focusing now on human rights law – she continues to work with our company as an independent legal linguistic consultant.
